Just what do you give the superest of
supergroups. A super cake of course. That’s exactly the idea Krystal PR had and
there was only one master-baker for the job Cakes by Candy.
If you’re a proper fan of busted and more so
McFly you’ll know exactly how much the boys love the film Back To The Future;
it is after all how the latter chose their name. So what better theme for the
supergroups super-cake.
Cakes by Candy created what can only be described
as edible art; truly magnificent. They created the famous flux capacitor with
impeccable detail, it even had lights!
Krystal PR presented the boys with the cake at
the LG arena where they were clearly blown away, turning to twitter and
instagram to show-off the mighty cake. It also had a starring role in the live
show as during Crashed the Wedding Dougie made sure Matt got a closer look and
a mini food fight ensued. We wonder if it tasted as delicious as it looked?
It’s not the first mightily impressive cake Cakes
by Candy have created for the boys, they also made them a special one in honour
of McFlys 10 years anniversary gigs at the Royal Albert Hall, it even made it
onto the DVD.
We’ve seen a fair few impressive cakes before, we
watch The Great British Bake-Off after all, but these works of art from Cakes
by Candy surpass anything we could imagine ever making it into cake form. We’re
trying to think of an occasion that requires a magnificent cake just so we can
get one for ourselves!
