Tonight see’s the start of CBB 2014, and we
cannot wait. A month ago we were promised an explosive line-up with the biggest
launch night twist, EVER. We might just be getting both…
The twist will see celebrities paired off and handcuffed
together before they’ve even entered the house, with Big Brother picking the
newly destined to be best mates there’s bound to be some cunning choices.
The (Rumoured) Line-up
Dappy – N-Dubz
Poor boy was last seen getting seriously injured
by a horse which is almost ironic considering the thing before that for which
was last seen… Anyway, he’s not done bad hits wise during his solo time but it’s
safe to say things have trailed off a little, perfect time for a stint on
national telly. He’s not exactly the boy next door (depending on where you
live) but he’s by no means boring, great housemate material.
Sam Faires – TOWIE Star
Not the best kept secret ever that Sam will be
entering the house tonight (unless it’s one giant ruse). After ex-boyfriend Joey
Essex did so well in the jungle it’s only natural Sam will want to show the
nation what she has to offer, we’re sure the papers will only be so kind as to
help flaunt it on her behalf.
Lee Ryan – Boyband Member
Lee has been linked to this and many other shows
for some years now, but this could just finally be the year. Unlike last series’
boyband helping (we think his name was Abz), Lee isn’t a wallflower
(understatement) and certainly has scope for saying something that’ll either be
so funny he wins or so terrible he’s kicked out. Either way, it works for us.
Jim Davidson – Controversial Comic.
He was all set to enter the house last January,
but then got arrested. The likelihood is this time that won’t happen and he’ll
make it through the doors, although ironically still in handcuffs (oh BB). If
you’ve seen Jim on shows such as Hells Kitchen you’ll know exactly why
producers want him, controversy is his middle name (it’s not).
Luisa Zissman – Apprentice Star
The tabloids loved her during the last series of
The Apprentice and they’ll love her during her stint in the house. Looks great
in a bikini, check. Has plenty of skeletons, check. Not afraid to speak her
mind, double check. We have a feeling she might do pretty well, assuming she
avoids the first round of noms.
Ollie Locke – Made In Chelsea Star.
We do love a posho. It’s become the norm for
starts of structured reality to venture into that of slightly less structured
reality, and on a whole they do pretty well. Ollie didn’t feature in the last
series of Made in Chelsea and with various projects to promote it’d be a great
time for him to enter the famous house.
Evander Holyfield – American Boxer
Oh look, a rumoured housemate that’s never been
rumoured before, we’re not used to this. Older sportsman, check. American,
check. Hang on, it might just be true. Evander is most famous for that time
Mike Tyson had a nibble on his ear, and other boxing related achievements.
Alan Fletcher – Neighbours Actor.
First Toadie now Doctor Karl Kennedy, one of
Australia’s most loveable soap starts, after Kylie and Dannii and Jason and
Holly and that other one who went into Glee. We don’t know much about Alan
personality wise but he’s sure to be an early popular choice.
Liz Jones – Controversial Writer (sort of)
No we hadn’t heard of her either but Phillip
Schofield once called her “inconsistent, bitter, nasty and unhinged” exactly
what you want from a Big Brother housemate. She’ll either be first out or be
the complete opposite of her ‘media persona’ nobody will notice she’s even
there.
India Reynolds – A Girl
Nope, no idea. Apparently she’s well known as
being a finalist in the page 3 idol contest back in 2009. So clearly she’s a
huge star and will most likely be going in. The joy.
The Katie’s – The Katie’s
Both Katie Price and Katie Hopkins have been
heavily rumoured for some time now with both having denied it beyond doubt.
There’s no denying they’d be fantastic housemates albeit not for the all the
right reasons but unfortunately it looks as though they couldn’t be tempted.
Then again Sophie Anderton denied it too…
Jasmine Waltz – Socialite?
Oh look another one we’ve never heard of, she’s
definitely going in then. She dated Danny Cipriani (who hasn’t – us) and having
a bit of a scrap with Lindsay Lohan. Jasmine is currently in London and is one
of those people that aren’t famous but know lot’s of famous people. A classic
CBB housemate.
Nancy Dell’Olio – Sven-Goran Eriksson’s Ex
Always rumoured for any reality show going. She’s
a little bit crazy in an ‘I can’t believe what I’m watching from behind my
fingers’ kind of way and is slightly more well known than the classic ‘ex-of
someone sort of famous’ housemate.
Channel 5 – Tonight – 9pm
