After a lengthy montage telling us how different
the arena is to the room auditions we brush over some not so great ones we’ve
never seen before. Then we get stuck in…
James Graham
17-year-old James from Essex is back and
professes his newfound love for the furry little things after Simon advised.
His family are much more nervous than he is, more so about his hair than his
actual audition though. His last visit to Wembley was to see Barney the
dinosaur, but this time it’s to wow the waiting crowd. You won’t be staring at
his voluptuous hair for long, the second he starts singing you’ll be putty in
his hands as he performs ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me’.
Jale Antor
In her first audition Jale found out she might
have another sister in the form or Cheryl; they’re basically twins. She
continues the Cheryl theme by singing ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love’ much to Simon’s
amusement.
The Courtesans
Eileen and Ben found themselves labeled
fantastically cuckoo by Simon in their room audition whereas Cheryl found them
quite captivating. They’re certainly one of the two; there’s even some added
guitar miming thrown in.
Rebecca Jones
Rebecca impressed 3 out of 4 judges in her room
audition with Simon in particular taking a shine to her. Having only ever
performed to crowds of around 150, Wembley is a big step up for Rebecca and
there are tears…
Charlie Brown
In his room audition Charlie impressed all four
judges with his laid back, effortless, authenticity and he’s back to try and
top it in the arena. This time he’s without his guitar though.
Stevie Tennet
Stevie managed to win Cheryl over in his first
audition with his confident performance despite her making it clear she didn’t
like the lowered age limit. Can he impress once more?
Paul Akister
Paul’s back (again, again) yay! Having wowed in
the room he’s out to wow again, but first there’s some much warranted Louis
booing. Oh and some flashback photo’s to 15 year old Paul, bless him. His
performance of ‘Let’s Get In On’ is everything you can imagine and more. Simon
even gets himself a special little dance and shows Paul his gratitude.
Lauren Platt
Lauren was officially Cheryl’s favoruite 16 year
old from the room auditions. She’s back with a reunited family and performing
Whitney Houston’s ‘How Will I Know’ with a beautiful twist. Mel is so excited
she threatens violence.
Amy Connolley
Amy is back with a brand new doo and ready to
follow on from her emotional room audition with hopefully another great
performance. Her children are in tow and despite professing she doesn’t see herself
as a pop star she takes on a Whitney classic ‘The Greatest Love of All’.
