One Night Only Are Back!

Remember One Night Only? That band who were pretty good with the handsome lead singer called George, then just seemed to disappear? Well, after a few years’ hiatus, they’re back! The band returned in October with the release of a brand new single, Get Around To It!

This time One Night Only are doing it their way on, their own terms, which is excellent info for fans new and old. They’ve already announced an intimate show in December at London’s Sebright Arms, which only went and sold out in one day! A sure sign of big things to come.

They’re not back with just a trickle of joy though, they’re back with a bang premiering new single Plasticine which you can check out over at Soundcloud right now. The track will be an instant addition to any of your playlists as it grabs you from the very first beat. You can pre-order it on iTunes. You can also get your hands on a limited edition transparent orange 7” vinyl from the band’s website. But wait… there’s more! They’ve also announced a UK tour, which kicks off on the 3rd of February in Bristol.

New track Plasticine, written and produced by One Night Only and Rupert Lyddon, will be released through the band’s ONO label. The songs about the need to change or transform, and the attempt to become comfortable in your own skin as milestones come and go. Quite the message. There’s even a b-side, ‘Got It’s Charms.

The decision to take a few years out has done the band wonders, not only musically but also personally. They’re much more confident now, ready to return doing things their way. The time out has allowed them to evolve and develop a new sound, but don’t worry, if you were a fan before, we don’t see that changing.

2015 is set to be a great year for One Night Only with their new album set to drop along with plenty more tracks. Then there’s that tour we mentioned…
