Meet Gio.

The Australian music invasion on the UK charts is firmly underway; there’s been Iggy Azalea and 5 Seconds of Summer, now multi-award winning artist Gio is set to release his music on our shores.

He’s gracing British soil with his brand new track ‘Computer Games’ which is set for release later this year; your ears are in for a treat. His unique mix of soul fuelled pop vocals streaked with virtuosic Spanish influence guitar puts Gio in a genre all of his very own.

The Aussie musician boasts an impressive collection of awards from Best Artist, Best male Vocalist and Broadcasters Choice, all at the ABC Music Awards. Then there’s his APRA Songwriter of the year and Best Instrumental Artist at the MusicOz Awards… quite an impressive haul. They don’t go giving out awards to just anyone so it’s safe to say Gio has talent!

Born Down Under Gio grew up listening to an eclectic mix of music revolving around his parents’ love of gospel and soul, all whilst growing up in the MTV generation of Michael Jackson and Prince. The sounds of Michael Jackson and Prince have evidently had a distinct influence on Gios’ own vocals, which coupled with his original musicality makes for an impressive sound.

After securing a major recording and publishing deal with FAME Music his infection track ‘Computer Games, produced by Tom Misner, is bound for chart glory.
