Here's our Big Brother blogging teams second weekly bumper catch-up blog. Agree with us? Disagree with us? We want to know what you think...
Sunday
Sundays
highlight show saw the fallout from Gina, Jackie and Wolfy viewing the
housemates audition tapes, cue arguments and plotting! As the trio sat in the
tree house only a cauldron was missing. Agreeing to use the information they
had been given subtly, with the power, they dispersed.
It didn’t take long for
Wolfy to break the pact and divulge all to Callum trying to earn herself some
brownie points for being so damn honest. Boooo you Wolfy! Completely ruined
Jackie and Gina’s perfectly plotted ‘Charlie met a rapper…’ sketch. The awkward
Callum interrogation ended with the sentence ‘Im not interesting enough to be a
housemate’… you said it Callum!
Amongst
the drama we were treated to a Boys V Girls task, HONK, SPLAT, DUNK, MUNCH –
The Human Bop-It. The boys won and were treated to an ironic girls night in,
and boy did they enjoy it. Daley wasted no time changing into the pink
ensemble, quickly followed by the rest before they treated the on-looking
envious girls to a little show… all that topless dancing Callum does really
shined through.
The
fun didn’t last long, cue EVEN MORE audition tape drama. Gina shared the trio’s
finding with the rest of the housemates pointing out the ‘shocking’ nature of
Hazels. Hazel soon took offence and denied, denied, denied, pointing the finger
at Gina and her ‘lies’. Suddenly Wolfy had nothing to say, rightly pointed out
by Gina… (insert mental montage of their friendship ending here)

Monday
The
main theme of tonight's show is just how much the housemates are getting on
each other nerves. This is a given in any series, and tonight was full of
arguments that escalated far quicker and more dramatically then they ever
needed to.
Joe
and Dan's spat positively oozed just plain irritation. The way they snapped and
snarled at each other was a pretty fine illustration of just how all of them
are on their last nerve with each other already, meaning that when you're
Dexter – seemingly despised by the rest of the house – then even a too loud
sneeze is going to result in fiery arguments.
The
ridiculous cigarette row showed that Dexter at this point can't do right for
doing wrong and for his part I think he's coping very well. The others are just
plain picking on him now. They are all annoyed with each other but because he's
a symbol of united contrition it's easier to take any frustrations out on him.
Am I the only one who sensed that he was getting yelled at because they didn't
get the result they wanted with Wolfy? She said that she wasn't prepared to
share after Dexter did exactly what they wanted him to do and so the messenger
was shot. If he's got any sense, he'll start fighting back rather than taking
it, because at the minute he's coming across as weak and the housemates are
already well aware of this. I'm not saying that Dexter is innocent, far from
it, I'm sure he's a nightmare to live with. But he's currently more likeable
than quite a few of the housemates picking on him.
Wolfy,
unless she's saved on Wednesday is due for a massive shock come Friday. Even if
she isn't evicted, she's going to get booed more than a traffic warden playing
a pantomime villain. Her attitude of late has been appalling – the chances are
that this is because of the sympathetic crowd chanting at Sallie's eviction.
She thinks she can do no wrong as far as the public are concerned, but if she's
anywhere near a big a fan of the show as she claims to be, she will also be
fully aware that public perception of a housemate can change quicker than the
mood in the house.
So,
as the housemates go into their third week, and another, no doubt testing,
shopping task, who will show their true colours to the extent that results in
their eviction?

Tuesday
I'm
going to start this weeks blog with a rant. I've liked Wolfy right up until
this episode. She's always depressed she was so fun at the start of the show
she's snapping at everyone for the tiniest things and I think she's purposely
trying to cause arguments. She's a 'massive fan' of the show so should know the
in's and out's of what the public like and she's a playing a massive game.
She's so confident that the public will save her from eviction. Get Callum Out.
Callum is being too nice she needs to top thinking about what the other
housemates think and start telling them what he really thinks of them all. He
told Dan he was sorry he was up even though he nominated him it doesn't add up
I don’t think he's set out for the Big Brother house if he would of told the
truth in his nomination tape he wouldn't even be in the house. He's a let down
because I think a lot of the public were excited to see what he was going to
get up to.
Dexter's
also being so fake. He's being ultra-nice and even went to the effort of
showering Dan with compliments. Talking about showers 'Return of the moth' Is
back and its ready to get Sophie. I think Wolfy's attracting all her insect
friends to the house. Back to Dexter he's starting to get really tactical with
everyone now as he's scared of being booted out of the house. It was nice
seeing everyones real emotion showing when they received the family
photographs. I'm confused to why Dexter didn’t bring any in and claimed it was
sign on weakness. Dexters a very confusing guy and i'm not sure we'll ever see
the real him whilst he's in the house.
Jackie
opening up whilst nominating was amazing I think she needed to get that it was
going to come out sooner or later. The twins are still my favourites so far I
can't wait to see what else theyre going to do. Hoping something involving them
both getting electric shocks their reactions would be amazing. I'm not looking
forward to Wolfy claiming the public love her next week if she gets saved.

Wednesday
*Chants*
“5,4, 3, 2, 1, Big Brother is so fun!!” In a house filled with PLUMS it was
never going to be PEACHY in the summer of secrets and lies! Wolfy and Dan the
man are sour LEMONS after face to face noms and the lack of ciggies is driving
smokers BANANAS! Hasn't this series been sub-LIME? (Blows RASPBERRIES to any
fruit-pun dislikers! :P) Silent Sam and Mummy T were cutesy wutesy to a
MELON-choly (last one, promise) PC Plod since his former vanilla BFF was
nowhere in sight, to comfort and console him in his plight.
The
juice collecting challenge was a bit of a balls up from the unhealthiest HM's
(consisting of Jack, Joe, Hazel, Sophie and Wolfy – they're sexy and they know
it!!) as they bounced up and down sexually on their fruity booties, assisted by
Mrs Motivator's commands. The smartest HM'S fare better in their quote
completions and Dex in stripping everyone of their clothes!
I
have seen the light and egotistical Wolfy has me screaming 4 letter expletives
at my TV on a nightly basis! You're not the only one with your sh*t shield up,
love! Stoppppp making out that you're being victimised and scrutinised – the
nation have seen straight through your attention-seeking antics and do want you
to go! Daley the double-dipping dog and Hazel the honey-tongued harlot's evil
insides are exposed as they spell it out that they R-E-A-L-L-Y L-I-K-E each
other!
Again,
we are cheated out of highlight action because BB decides we'd prefer to view a
chitchat with the 4 nominees. The double fake eviction and safe house twist
reveal has some up in arms… yes it's all been done before but what can we do,
all join hands and storm off in a huff? For the most mayhem and hilarity – get
Gina and Dexter voted in there as the pair. Shall we see more of Callum's
awkward niceness and sensual Charlie massages? Will Dazel ditch their other
halves and start K-I-S-S-I-N-G? And can they all take the twins suggestion on
board - to cut the really deep, tedious and boring conversations out?

OF THE EPISODE – BB: Big Brother hopes that nominations hasn't left a BITTER
taste in house mates mouths!
Thursday
54321,
the housemates woke up to a wet start to the day, they all had to shower
together for part of the 54321 task.
Charlie, Dexter and Daley went into the
task room to answer questions and they had to give matching answers. Meanwhile
Hazel and Daley were talking about whether or not they should stop talking to
put a halt to all the rumours. Gina had to sign a disclaimer before being
strapped to a spinning wheel as part of the knife throwing task, squeals of ‘no
no I can’t hold on’ and a nonchalant ‘hello’ ensued.
Friday
So,
a very Wolfy-centric episode at the end of an overall Wolfy-centric week. A
specially designed task to put as much focus on Wolfy as possible as she
highlights how nonsensical her belief she can communicate with animals is...
She proudly, and un-ironically, told Big Brother that she'd 'got' three of the
housemates secrets that they had told to various animals and then commenced to
repeat things the housemates had literally just said in front of the entire
group or commonly known things i.e. Callum is upset that people don't think he
is genuine, as if they were obscure thoughts that she knew only from her own
deep animal connection. And then, just when I thought she couldn't get any more
annoying she made the biggest fuss over Big Brother giving them some fresh
fish, even kissing the food that was given for the entire house - I'm sorry but
if I was in that house and saw anyone kiss the food I was about to eat I would
go mad. Other than that the highlights were vastly uneventful, I am starting to
feel bad for Callum, bless him, because although he is as dull as paint drying
I do think that he is just genuinely Mr. Nice and the fact that him being a
nice guy is being used against him and ostracising him is quite disheartening
to watch. Other than that Dan cried, Sophie went to jail for discussing
nominations and Jack and Joe continued to try too hard to be funny and
entertaining and just ended up being annoying.
As
for the eviction, I'm sure you all know by now that Big Brother has gone for a
twist so original and 'out-there' it actually dates back to 2004 - the safe
house. As glad as I am that Gina and Dexter not only get to embrace their inner
troublemaker and live in luxury but also are immune from next week's eviction,
I am annoyed that I will have to watch Wolfy on my screen for at least another
week. Wolfy is very egotistical and I am torn over how last night will have
changed her - on the one hand, she thinks that she survived eviction against
two housemates who have already been saved and cheered multiple times. On the
other, she was greeted with deafening chants of 'Get Wolfy Out!' which I'm sure
will set alarm bells ringing in more cynical housemates head - if Wolfy was so
unpopular, why wasn't she evicted? If Dexter and Gina have been evicted, why
were they greeted with such loud cheers? I'm sure in a normal situation Dan the
Policeman would be onto this in seconds but I think the fact that he believes
the public saved him will appeal to his ego more than his cynicism and I don't
know if he will allow paranoia and suspicion to set in at the cost of his
popularity with the public. I can also only hope that housemates still nominate
Wolfy this week and aren't put off by the fact she was 'saved' by the public,
however with popular targets Dexter and Gina out of the picture, who else will
they nominate?
All in all I think that as the best people for the job went
into the safe house it will go down a treat entertainment wise. I'm sure Dexter
and Gina will revel in causing hardship for the housemates while they live the
life of luxury and the fact that they can watch nominations will be beyond
interesting. I know that they are smart and calculating rather than outwardly
aggressive but a little part of me is hoping for a similar feat to the infamous
Fight Night upon their return next Friday, although the way that it is looking
housemates are more likely to be caught out being two faced towards eachother
rather than anything horrible towards Gina and Dexter, and as the two have no
real loyalties within the house I doubt anything they hear will cause too much tension
for them. Either way, I am excited to see how this plays out!
Week 4 has all the ingredients of brilliance! Meanwhile keep up with the action via our nightly BBUK tweets on @ItsBizNews
