Today we woke to the devastating news that Cory Monteith had passed away.
The glee star was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room after missing his check out time. We personally cannot remember a time we were more shocked and saddened to hear of the death of someone we never knew.
Cory had battled with his addictions for many many years, its truly awful someone so talented, respected, adored, with all the love and support in the world can be over powered by drugs.
At just 31 years old he had so much love and life ahead of him to enjoy, not least with Lea, who openly supported his recent rehab stint and beamed her pride he was seeking help.
We grew to love Cory's character in Glee and in turn the man himself, our thoughts go out to his partner and co-star Lea Michele and all his family and friends.
R.I.P Cory, entertain the folks in heaven.
