This week has been full of explosions and personally I feel
has been one of the best weeks so far in the house this series. The week
started off with a bang on Monday as family and friends nominated. Charlies
friend Sophie caused a massive stir in the house nominating Charlies 'BFF'
Hazel. Hazel showed how immature, evil and bitchy she can be as she then
unleashed the evil inside and turned on Charlie. I thought this was really
unfair as it was Charlie's friend who nominated her not Hazel. It didn't end there
Gina's boyfriend and Jack & Joe's mum also nominated ‘sly’ Charlie saying
she'’s manipulative. The tension escalated and Hazel drove Charlie to tears in
front of all the housemates, this was incredibly uncomfortable to watch as a
viewer, not helped by the fact not a single housemate comforted her or came to
her defence. I think we’ve seen Charlies true colours as she reached breaking
point and opened up to all the other housemates about how she hasn't got the
confidence to tell people what she really thinks about them, we've seen
throughout the series Charlie was quick to tell her mum to be quiet when Jackie
was telling the housemates how she felt about them.
I loved this weeks task. Queen Bee Gina was in her element,
sat on her thrown, bossing all the other housemates around, especially Hazel,
and not having to lift a finger. Charlie joined Gina as her sidekick and
escaped the bee stings and honey making, although she probably can’t add
‘excellent message repeater’ to her skill set. Gina got a little treat by
choosing the bee's to make 400 pots of honey and received a phone call from her
boyfriend who told her to stay away from Hazel (I think the no contact with the
outside world is a rule we can kiss goodbye to).
The task resulted in Hazel and Gina having a heated argument
that’s clearly been brewing for quite some time. It again showed how immature,
sly and bitchy Hazel is. She's 'Evil inside' as Gina says. She wasn't being a
team player and I think everyone was seeing this as Sophie was getting really
annoyed with her too. The argument then continued into the bedroom with insults
coming from both of them 'bitch, homewrecker, put some clothes on, unclassy'
the list goes on. They are just 2 people who are never going to get on and I
wouldn't be surprised if there's more arguing at the after show party. On
Eviction day the two of them were still at it after Hazel wanted more room at
the hairdrying station. They started slating each other again whilst the other
housemates looked on in shock, gone are the days of subtle passive comments,
this bitch fest is on blast.
It hasn’t gone unnoticed by housemates and viewers that Gina
has been party to a lot of tasks lately, not so subtle there BB! Its about time
producers handed the housemates a task where they experience the world the way
Sam does, it would be a great opportunity to raise more awareness of the struggles
faced by deaf people and allow Sam to be that role model he hopes to be.
Hazel's week was full of bangs, explosions and arguments.
She definitely didn’t leave quietly. I think Hazels done really well to last
this long, especially after the Daley incident and thanks to a few nombomb
twists she managed to out stay her welcome for a good few extra weeks. Despite
everything you cannot deny what a fantastic housemate Hazel has been, its
almost a shame she’s gone, ALMOST, I could have easily watched another week of
her and Ginas no holds barred arguments.
With face to face nominations taking place on Monday and one
final eviction on the Friday it’s still all to play for (for about 3 of them)
however with a free pass to the final on offer to one housemate everything
could change!
