Yannick Bolasie is the ultimate rags to riches story
in the Premier League nowadays. He's come from the Maltese Premier League where
he played for Floriana after coming through the Rushden and Diamonds youth
academy, to representing Crystal Palace in the Premier League this coming
season.
The pacy winger is set to be the man to replace golden
boy Wilfried Zaha after his move to champions Manchester United this summer.
Last season he started the majority of the games alongside Zaha, bagging 3
goals and 8 assists en route to Palace's promotion. However he was dropped for
the playoff ties, and will now have to fight for his spot with Zaha gone.
The powerful Congo international is a firm fan
favourite too, having been raised in London for most of his life. With his
clothing range and catchphrase "Karmmmm" gaining popularity at a
glaring rate, fans and pundits alike are set to have him in their sights ready
for the new season.

"His most obvious asset is that he's quick & very powerful. Ridiculously strong on the ball too. The amount of CBs I've seen him hold off who are much bigger than him is crazy! Also, his dribbling skills are very strong & he has a few skills in his locker. A good example of what he's all about is Zaha's goal at Selhurst Park vs Huddersfield."

"He is a good player , he has lot to live up to though if he wants to be the next Zaha. But he
has the talent to do it and I
think this year he will shine through as a Palace player and be known as a
legend at the club just like Wilf was."
@ReubenPinder
"Bolasie was one of
the most exciting Championship attackers to watch last season. His crossing
ability, as shown in the Play-Off Semi against Brighton for Zaha's first, will
be a threat, especially with Dwight Gayle's head to aim for. South London is
hoping he steps up to the plate and replaces Wilfried Zaha as their offensive
talisman."
